announces tax credit grant for UMCS


On Monday, April 14th the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Deveopment Authority (WHEDA)
announced that United Methodist Children's Services will receive a tax credit grant
for the primary funding of a 24 unit affordable-rate rental apartment building

Over 60 people joined us on a cold, rainy Saturday to celebrate the groundbreaking for UMCS townhomes.
Among those in attendance were City of Milwaukee Common Council President Willie Hines, Jr.,
18th Assembly District Representative Tamara Grigsby, WHEDA Executive Director Antonio Riley
and Assistant to Bishop Linda Lee, Rev. Steve Polster.
