UMCS Emergency Food Pantry Update

August 20, 2020

Dear Friends,

Although 2020 has been a trying year in so many different ways, here at United Methodist Children’s Services of WI, Inc. (UMCS) we are incredibly thankful and appreciative of the steadfast support that we have continued to receive from all of our dedicated individual and Church supporters from across the state of Wisconsin and beyond.  We greatly miss all of our wonderful volunteers who have sustained our emergency food pantry and senior stock-box programs over the years, and we look forward to welcoming you back when conditions allow for that to happen.  In the meantime, our amazing staff members have rallied together to support one another through difficult times and to ensure that our critical programs continue to operate.  Although things look a little different than they did before, we are so very grateful that we have been able to sustain our food pantry programs without any interruption or closure throughout the entire COVID-19 crisis – no small feat!  We look forward to seeing you back at UMCS in the weeks to come, and until that time here’s a quick little video tour of the food pantry to remind you of all the great work you are supporting.

You can also check out the video and more on the UMCS Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/umcswi/- don’t forget to “like” and “follow” our page as well!

On behalf of the entire staff and our Board of Directors at United Methodist Children’s Services, I thank you for your continued support and wish you and your families many blessings, health and happiness throughout the remainder of this year.

Thank you,

William Schmitt
