UMCS Holiday Giving Drives

November 1, 2021

As we enter the month of November, UMCS has begun to prepare for the busy holiday season. As such we wanted to reach out to our community of supporters and partners to offer some options for holiday drives, if you and/or your group are looking for a way to give back this year. Every year our supporters and partners are so generous with donations and gifts. Thank you for all your generosity now and in the future.

UMCS has a couple of options to help us bring holiday joy to the families in our community:

  1. Amazon Wish List – Gifts     -

Please feel free to order off our Amazon wish list for items that will be given out to families in our community at our annual Christmas dinner. If you can please have these items delivered before December 7, it would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Donations to Support the Christmas Dinner

Every year UMCS has a beautiful dinner catered for the families of our community in celebration of the season. If you are interested in donating toward the cost of the dinner, please contact me.

  1. Gift Cards

Although items are a wonderful way to support the families of our community, many times a family may have unexpected needs at the end of the year or would like to choose gifts for their loved ones. Therefore, UMCS is accepting gift card donations of$25 from the following retailers:

Walmart, VISA, Amazon, Aldi, Pick N Save, Qdoba, Noodles, Culver’s

Other Drive Options:

Through the winter and all throughout the year, the families in our community have a need for the following:

  • New hats, mittens and  socks for children and adults
  • New small appliances – toasters, coffeemakers, crockpots, etc
  • New Vacuums
  • Unused Hygiene Items – shampoo, bars of soap, toilet paper, toothpaste,     toothbrushes (individually wrapped, if possible), etc
  • Unopened Laundry  Detergent
  • Diapers – Sizes 3, 4, 5, or 6

If you have any questions about these drive options, please do not hesitate to contact Rebecca Gregory, Director of Development & Outreach, at or 414-509-1055. We are so grateful to our community for their support this giving season.
